Journalists were invited to take part in the international competition «Safety and labor culture of a working person» within the Forum «All Russia 2019».
The competition is held by the Union of Journalists of Russia with the support of the non-profit organization «Association of Developers, Manufacturers and Suppliers of Personal Protective Equipment» (ASIZ).
During the presentation of the competition, President ASIZ Vladimir Kotov, noted that the idea of a competition arose not by chance — in Russia there are about 12 million disabled people, and about eight million of them are industrial invalids. This competition is being held in order to form a positive public opinion upon improving the level of safety culture, a healthy lifestyle of workers, as well as preventing occupational injuries.
“To live you must work, create, create. It is no secret that often it is the labor process that exposes a person to risks, moreover, regardless of what he does. A miner and a journalist, a teacher andan astronaut – all of them can face to danger in their work. With the help ofthe competition, all of us will be able to draw the attention of the public to this fact and realize the value of human life”, — said the president of ASIZ Vladimir Kotov.
Media journalists, digital media employees, bloggers and photographers can take part in the competition. For this, it is necessary to submit works of authorship in Russian or English, published from January 1 to November 15, 2019.
The competition has the following nominations:
- The best television work (program, reportage, interview, analytical program, documentary);
- The best material in the print media (article, reportage, interview);
- The best material in digital media (article, reportage, interview);
- The best photo.
The quantity of works from one author is not limited. Applications submitted with the competition materials can be sent by e-mail: email@example.com until November 20, 2019 marked “For the competition”.
The application must have: the name of the nomination, the name of the material (s), information about the author (name, place of work, phone, email address).
Announcement of results and awarding will take place within the framework of the traditional exhibition “Safety and Labor Protection-2019” (BIOT-2019), which will be held from December 10 — 13 in Moscow, VDNH, Hall 75. The competition regulations can be found here.
